You will write an effect blog.  What would happen to you if you fell in love with someone from another ethnicity?

We all know of the effects of smoking, but causes of people starting to smoke are not clear.  What do you think are the main reasons for teens and/or adults?  Write a complete paragraph presenting at least two reasons. 

Compare/Contrast

Pick two things, places, ideas, people, times, or events that can be compared.  Write 5 sentences that show the similarities between the two and 5 sentences that show the differences between the two.  Use the connectors and transitions found on page 116 and 117.

What would you uninvent?

Think of all of our modern day inventions, for example, hair dryer, phones, toothbrush, and plastic.  If you could uninvent an item, what would it be?  Explain why.

Where would your shoes say you went this past summer?  What kinds of places did they take you?  What kinds of activities did they participate in?  What emotions would they say you felt? Overall, were your shoes happy about where you went?
